One of the primary motivations for remodeling a kitchen is to improve its functionality. Over time, not only does the aesthetic look of the room become outdated, but the list of impractical design aspects grows longer. From the inconvenient location of appliances to the lack of storage space, many people have some sort of grievance with their kitchen, as did the homeowners of this recently completed kitchen remodel. Their mission was to create a modern, yet efficiently designed kitchen, and we were thrilled to help them achieve just that!
Mission Accomplished! By removing the breakfast nook and relocating a couple of doorways, we were able to create significantly more cabinet and countertop space. The dark cabinets, paired with the lightly colored shiplap walls and hardwood floors, provide a much more open and inviting atmosphere, not to mention a beautiful and distinct design! All of the cabinets, crown molding, and the range hood were designed and custom-built in house by our team of skilled carpenters, including the unique dog dish pullout drawer and the decorative wood piece made from materials salvaged from the original kitchen. The bar area opens up a significant amount of much-needed storage space. The brass cabinet hardware and kitchen faucet are simply stunning!
